It’s no secret that men love chocolate as much as women. Arranging some father’s day chocolate gifts to your dad might be an excellent idea to celebrate all the sacrifices and unconditional love he has provided to you throughout the years. Now good chocolate cakes are a universally enjoyed treat, but add bananas and applesauce to the mix and you got yourself a delicious upgrade. Enjoy this cake with your dad on his special day and make him feel the fold by choosing high quality chocolates and ingredients for this simple recipe.

Ingredients

  • 3 bananas
  • 150 grams brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup applesauce, unsweetened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 200 grams all-purpose  flour
  • 100 grams cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon  baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon  salt
  • 200 grams chocolate chips

Optional: to make these slices nice chocolate gifts for dad – serve them with vanilla ice cream on the side.

Procedure

  • 1

Mix the brown sugar with the bananas using a stand mixer until the sugar dissolves totally.

  • 2

Pour the applesauce and vanilla, and after mixing a bit, crack the egg.

  • 3

In a bowl, combine the flour, salt, cocoa powder, and baking soda. After mixing them add them to the stand mixer.

  • 4

Fold in the chocolate chips and now you can use this batter to fill a square baking dish.

  • 5

Bake at 200 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes. Serve Warm. I truly believe that this could be one of the best chocolate father's day gifts if prepared the same day before having it.
